Today, I am opening this new section called Zhiyan (卮言) in my digital garden.
In Chinese philosophy, particularly in Zhuangzi, “Zhiyan” represents “spillover words” or “vessel words” — words that flow naturally like water from a tipping vessel, free from premeditated structure or rigid boundaries.
Unlike formal blog posts, this space is dedicated to:
- Daily fragments of life and micro-logs
- Impromptu insights and passing inspirations
- Random thoughts that don’t need a 1,000-word essay to exist
It is a quiet corner to think aloud, learning and living in public. Welcome.
